About the Opportunity
Level the Playing Field in Development (LPFDev) has launched the next phase of our Climate Justice monitoring project, tracking COP30 negotiations and key global climate events over a one-year period. We are recruiting volunteer team members for a minimum commitment of 6 months to support research, analysis, outreach, and data collection.

Role Description
The Kenya Hub Coordinators will support the expansion of the climate justice project and climate justice network within Kenya. This role focuses on identifying and engaging with stakeholders, outreach, communication and admin. It also includes taking part in strategy development and mobilization efforts to strengthen collective action and drive impactful climate justice outcomes.
As part of ASATT’s Phase 2 mandate, the Coordinators will help strengthen participation in our research on attendance, narratives, and barriers.
They will be a connector, community builder, mobilizer, and organiser helping ensure climate justice is truly representative.
Task will include
Event Mapping & Stakeholder Engagement
Hub & Community Building
Support for Phase 2 Research (You are not required to be a researcher, but you will support the research workflow.)
Help identify sources for narrative and barrier tracking (media outlets, social media accounts, organisations).
Communications & Coordination
Ideally you will be
Be passionate about/willing to learn about the issues we focus on climate and human rights/decolonisation.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Confident communicator (email, WhatsApp, and verbal engagement)
Comfortable building relationships with diverse actors (youth groups, NGOs, activists, etc.)
Strong interest in climate justice, equity, and Global South movements
Interested in or have experience working with Kenyan climate networks or civil society
